Side indicator badges

Does anybody know if it is possible to get the badges for the side indicators seperately? On one of mine the chrome ring around the edge has started to flake off, would like to replace it if it's simple.

yes you can, they are just stuck on.

prise them off carefully and replace.

Slide some fishing line in behind he badge and use it to slice through the glue. It's simple.

Part number for the new badge is 51147057794. Note that the new badge will have embossed details whereas the old (i.e. 2003) badges were "flat". Nobody will notice the difference; even someone as anal as I

Thanks for that, mine is an 06 model so should have the embossed badges already. I'll get one ordered.

i found heating the sides up with a hairdryer or heatgun to melt the glue... then some dental floss to be able to get a finder nail under it and a hard pull got mine off.

Cleaning up the residue left was another matter! used some lighter fluid... smelly but very effective.
