Played once - 5 hours up and down muddy lanes. Don't think I saw the ball. Felt a bit like one ...lol

Still did what they all do and drank a lot = soon forgot the game

The German American and Pennsylvania Dutch population where I live today is known as Fastnacht Day. Fastnacht is a potato dough that is fried and served with dark corn syrup. When I was a child we always had waffles for dinner on this date rather than pancakes.
