The E92 3er Coupe and E93 3er Convertible sell alongside each other, so perhaps a folding hard top doesn't mean a Coupe is a definite no....looks so good!
 
Would there be much demand for an E89 coupe? Unlike the E92 which has quite a big consumer market the 2 seater is more a niche market... so what could a E85 coupe offer which the standard E85 CC doesnt :?

Unless they offer something along the lines of the Z4 GT3 (which has a fixed roof) leave the V8 in there and call it the z4M :evil:

Quite a few of us have remapped our 35i's, I have Dinan Stage II in mine and absolutely love it....384 HP and bags of torque ...all the time. :D :D

Now I do like this, great lines and the csl wheels are just lush, anyone fitted them to an E89......oh please

It's almost entirely down to looks :)

The chances of a Coupe E89 are about nil as the current car does do the Coupe thing quite well, and having had a good hard stare at an M Sport example today it does look pretty good. I do wish they would just hurry up and stick the V8 in it though.

Manual 35i M Sports seem to be very thin on the ground, everything is an Auto...
