Should I change my oil after 3,000 miles ?

Hi all

Ive only covered 3,000 miles since a service a year ago.
The oil is still golden.
The car sits outside so is it worth changing the oil or wait for the 2 yearly service ?

If it was good quality oil I would leave it until next year.

I'd say not to worry about it until either you have 7000 miles or next year which ever comes first

I wouldn't change it - as previous post change it next year

i'd be inclined to agree with everyone else. 3K and 1yr is fine. i tend to do my westy every couple of years but it only does 3K tops in that time.

if you are tracking it all the time then i would change the oil just to be sure but this may be overkill still.
