Tragic, always had mixed feelings in trying to stop someone taking property, especially a car but nowadays I just think let them get on with it and the reason I've got GAP insurance on both cars and hope its not recovered if stolen.

Totally agree property is replaceable it's not worth a life
 
Just read this and had the same reaction to others. A real tragedy, but just not worth trying to prevent the theft.
I'd guess they were fuelled on adrenelin from the theft and the victim tried to block their getaway and was run over
 
If they get caught you will get some ares of a barrister pleading they have had a deprived upbringing .Next they will be staying in somewhere like the holiday camp type prison.Then to add insult they will only serve half the sentence .If they take a life ,the sentence for them should be ,prison until they pop their clogs doing hard labour.
If somebody is taking something that belongs to you ,I think it's a natural reaction to stop them.

I'd like to think I would just let it go if that happened to me, but in the heat of the moment who knows? Just sorry for the owner and his family and friends.

I think the car was abandoned damaged not far away, which makes it seem even more pointless.
 
Bloody Scumbags, just put me in charge to punish those found guilty of this heinous crime :evil: I could show you just how evil a human being could be, and I also would not bat an eyelid

10 years Service in the RN helping protect people like the turds who killed him. Maybe if they catch them, they can be given to the RN to deal with. I suspect they'd be shot out of torpedo tubes for a bit of 'justice'.

Let's hope when caught justice is done , and they get life without parole .
The death sentence should be brought back for the likes of these people .
There are quite a few people in our prisons that
The world could well do without :thumbsup:
 
I lived literally just around the corner from where this happened when I was a Manchester University student many years ago, so it brought it home to me with sickening reality.

I don't know what the solution is, it seems they have caught the low life scum responsible, life with a minimum 30 years would be too good and a burden on the rest of us.

Wouldn't call it a man, even a rat's not low enough, how about a piece of sh1t has been arrested, that sounds more fitting :| .
