My friend Pete bought a Boxster S for $600, the guys ex didn’t want him to get the car so she and her pals went at it with knives, hammers and bats. There wasn’t a body panel, piece of glass, seat face , door trim or mirror etc that wasn’t smashed or slashed. Then it sat around his yard for a year or two until Pete got it. He scrounged all the new bits and put it back together and drove it for a few years then sold it for about $17,000. At least something good came out of it. ( insurance wrote it off for the first owner so he didn’t care).
