Window wiper motor grease removal :? what?

its for when or before they pack up and this is not just limited to the Z4. my X5 suffered from this as well.

It'll be my next "howTo" post, coming this weekend

But basically, your wipers will eventually go a bit mental; First they'll start to "park" at a higher point than normal.
After that, they'll eventually just stop mid wipe and you'll have to either wait about 2 to 5 minutes before they come back to life, or turn the ignition off fully, and back on.
Eventually they'll get to the point where they stop once every minute of usage... which is interesting at 70mph on the motorway :evil

You fix it by removing a load of grease that shouldn't be where it's got to.

I'd be careful removing all of it, or from all areas. My drivers wiper broke, basically the connection to the motor arm seized and snapped, leaving me in the rain at night leaning over to the passenger side while driving :lol:
