The closest I have come to a bad accident........

Just had a car drive up my arse. He backed off then decided to undertake me and squeeze between me and the car in front. There was no space so he drove into the side of my car and I was forced into the gravel on the central reservation on a bend doing 70. He then proceeded to squeeze through a gap the size of his car between the car in front and the car in the inside lane.

Car was all over the place and if I hadn't had the presence of mind to correct god knows what would have happened. The car is safe and intact but I am not. Shaking....
 
Sounds like you made appropriate avoiding action - but nasty. :thumbsdown:

Wonder if it was stolen? No doubt caused an accident somewhere. . . . :x :thumbsdown:

There are some right assholes on the road nowadays. Everyone thinks they're f1 drivers.

Glad to hear (i hope) you and your car made it through unscathed. I've been involved in a few accidents (1 my fault) and they're never a pleasent experience.
 
Wouldn't suprised Paul. Never experienced recklessness like it first hand.

Dumb and should not be allowed a licence (If he has a license)
 
Glad you are OK, sounds like a very nasty experience. Could have been a lot worse.

I had a similar thing this week on the 2 lane M42. A lorry had pulled out into the fast lane to overtake another lorry, slowing the lane down to 50mph. The guy behind me pulled over into the slow lane, then accelerated past the queue, then passed the slower lorry at about 80mph on the hard shoulder!

W4nker! What is it with some people these days?
 
Glad you are ok, but there are some proper idiot drivers on the road now.

Year before last i had someone overtake a lorry on a single carriageway around a bend... Doing well over 80mph, i had to swerve into the gravel to avoid a head on with them... Resutling in M front fang getting smashed.

As Tim says for moments like that its worth getting a dash cam fitted... Only cost me £70 odd and 30mins of my time.

Least that way if it happens again you can give it to the police after and hopefully stop/ scare these people before they kill anyone.
