Settle an argument PLEASE!!

Question for you..

I had an argument with a mate today that the brakes on the Z4M are CSL rotors and calipers. He disagreed and said that they were just ones from M3.

If he's right, then I'll be darned as I recall mine had much less stopping power than in the current setup in the ZM.

So who's right and is it possible to then fit AP/Brembos for M3 that will bolt straight on to the Z4M.

Thanks.

E46 M3 brakes may not fit on the Z4M though, as the offsets on the wheels are different so you have to be careful with caliper size so they don't foul the wheels. This is why there's usually a M3 fitment and a Z4M fitment.

What mmm-five said, but to add that with spacers in the front you can fit E46 brake kits with the stock wheels. My Stoptechs for example are behind stock wheels but needed at least a 12mm spacer.

If he still needs convincing refer him to these links and he can check the parts numbers for himself:

The rear calipers also have a larger piston just like the CSL
