As I purchased my '07 Z4 2.0 ( manual ) without any handbooks etc. can anyone advise me...which oil to use and how often ? tyre pressures, it's on run flats and does this engine have a timing chain or belt ?

First off its a chain so not a serviceable item
Servicing should be indicated as & when on the dash computer but i would kick off with at least a oil + filter then look to change that every 12 months or 7-8k (whichever comes around first ) but BMW LL intervals would normally be much longer than this
If you have zero history i would also change the air filter , coolant,brake fluid & plugs then you're off to a good start . Should be around £250 for the above at a decent indy
Tyre pressures vary on personal preference but aim for between 32 -34 fronts & 34-36 rears & you won't be far off . Just tweak these numbers up or down to get the best driving "feel" for your car

I would get a full service done, brake fluid, coolant, diff fluid and gearbox fluid too.

After that do the oil yearly, brakes and coolant once every 2 years, diff and gearbox every 3 or 4 years depending on if your heavy mileage or low use.

The car will look after you if you look after it. However I do believe the 2 litre isn't as reliable as the bigger engines as it's a different model (may be incorrect).

Tyre pressures should be on the drivers door sill.

I have the same model and the tyre pressures are 30 front and 32 rear.
