Had my z for a year and just extended the warrenty- I have 1500 miles until service is due but do i have to dod it anualkly to meet with warrrenty rules?

No you don't, it's only needed when the service indicator says so.

Just got my first quote for 2 year service (Brake Fluid Change) and first oil service @ £290 inc vat (will be less on Monday of course with VAT dropping). This for a 2.5si. Dealer said he could move a little. Will now contact my local and preffered dealer to get a better price with the knowledge.
I will also look at a local BMW specialist http://www.munichlegends.co.uk I have no idea what they are like, but they have been around for a few years.
