Service indicator for MOT

Hi,

A service indicator has come up on the car and when i rang BMW they said it was to indicate that an MOT was due and not an actual service.

Is there any way for me to reset this or do I have to go to BMW. If i need BMW to reset it then i've go no option but to get the MOT done by them as i'll have to pay for the labour to get the reset done anyway.

If you have IDrive then just highlight it in the service menu, then change it. No idea if you havent got Idrive.
 
A bit of an RTFM moment. I didn't realise there was actually something you could reset without a visit to the dealer.
