Service costs items

Evening all,

So, I need to replace the rocker cover gasket as its leaking oil onto the manifold, whilst I'm at it im thinking of doing a full service, which would include the oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen/cabin filter, spark plugs etc.
Does anyone change the fuel filter as this doesn't appear very often in the service kits you can buy?
Also I've owned the car for nearly 3 years now, and whilst in my ownership I've changed the oil and filter only,(changed last year), and although there were a few receipts for service items the car doesn't appear to have any real service history.
The car drives spot on, and I wouldn't say it hasn't been looked after at some point and only has 3 previous owners on an 03 plate, so is it worth paying a garage to do it or do myself?
If I do myself, which I have no problem with, anyone recommend the best place to get service items from?

I can't see paying a garage at this point making any difference to the sale of the car anymore as its quite old, so could save a bit of cash doing it myself.

Thanks in advance daz
