Sepang MC

This is just down the road from me so I can take a look for any potential buyer - 20K for a cat car though!!!! :o especially in the current market.

Not sure I’d be too keen given the way the market looks, but it’s all up front and honest thanks to the photos. Also, 2012 was about the lowest values these cars ever saw (I looked at a sepang coupe late 2012 with just 16k on the clock and the asking price was £16.5) so it wouldn’t have taken that much of a bump to write it off.

I know Greg’s Sepang is still on AT at 22k - might be a safer option?

Like you say, the current market has ground to a halt so I can see this reaching 20k even with the documented work.

C'mon guys. Not only has someone welded a roof onto a roadster, they've then gone and painted it brown.
I reckon that's what gave it a Cat! :poke: :D

It doesn’t bode well for others if Sepang cars are hanging about. They used to get snapped up in no time.

It's good to see that the dealer has been completely up-front about it's history and seems to have a photographic record to go with it, but despite that I don't see it as a £20K car.

I know Sepang is rare but I'm not really a fan! I'd much rather have Imola Red. :)

How dare you Martin! Criticising the holy grail of Sepang bronze (or brown to you and me) is tantamount to heresy on this forum, you know that!

Personally I agree, though. A brown 17 year old write-off at £20k? The world has gone officially mad! :D

There’s an ex forum Imola MC on AT at the moment.

Yes, I've seen it but I'm not a fan of black interiors or wheels! Plus the spec looks a bit basic and I'd need to get my Aeros painted. I'll just stick with what I have. :D

I keep looking out for a silver grey MC but, like you, I look at mine and think better to stick with what you know, especially as she’s is completely sorted.

That's exactly what I do too.

I think it looks a nice car with a well documented repair. Any car at this age is likely to have had some work at some point but just may not be recorded. The repair was 11 trouble free years ago.

I do think they are dreaming at 20k right now.

A third Sepang up for sale. £20k (and not a cat). What’s with all the Sepang owners jumping ship??
