Now then guys & gals,
A few of you have sold a car privately so probably had the same issue. How do you insure a car while your selling it when your existing policy needs rolling onto the new car? We dont want a new policy on the new car as it will knacker the no claims entitlement (last time I tried to insure my car I lost 9 months, prospect of losing 10 this time). For my missus this would be rather irritating as she has only a couple already so the effect on premium is quite large.
It will be parked on a public road but what are the options? Am I missing the obvious? New policy plus cancel after (hopefully few weeks) if sell?
BTW anyone after a 2003 Corsa? 1.2 ltr Would make a great first car for someone
