Selling 103s

Bought my Z on saturday and love everything about it, the only thing I'm not 100% keen on are the wheels - I'd quite like to get some CSL Reps on.

The current wheels on it are 17" 103s with Bridgestone Potenza runflats on, still with plenty of tread.

Just wondered if there'd be any point me looking to sell these (either wheels/tyres seperately or together) to offset some of the cost of buying the CSL Reps, or if there's not likely to be much demand/cash to be had for them I'll keep them as spares and maybe stick some winter tyres on them.

Any advice appreciated

How much did you sell yours for, and was that including tyres?

I sold my set years ago for £250 with almost new tyres on them.

Are they running 225 45 17's all round. If I can work out if they fit a E89 I will put you can offer as need a winter wheel set !

happy times with your new car  nice colour & the upgrade of wheels will transform the stance immediately .
try PM to Z4M-2006 . he has a source for those kind of wheels at good £££ :)

Congrats on the new car Ste - missed your post about getting it over the weekend

I have 103s as winter wheels - bought them from a forum member on here, ok-ish front tyres, for £200. They were / are in need of a furb, but £200 is less than one new replacement from BMW I think. With decent tyres I reckon at least £250 is reasonable.

It might be worth splitting the wheels and tyres. The run flats on those wheels fit loads of 1 series and minis. When I swapped the wheels (which had the same size tyres as on that car) on my old 1 series due to all of the wheels buckling I sold the tyres on ebay and got roughly £50 per tyre. If you can do that and get £100 for the alloys or keep them as a winter set then you are quids in.
