Self Levelling Lights

Morning,

my head lights have stopped self levelling and are too dipped. Suspect it happened when I had some new front springs fitted, but it's only apparent now the nights are darker earlier...really hampers progress in the dark.

I read something about this happening post spring fitment somewhere, anyone got any ideas please?

thanks

One of the arms on the levelling sensor is broken or popped off, one on the front and one on the rear.
If this happens it defaults to the lowest settings

Exactly what MR Ring said! I had the same problem but on mine the plastic arm had broken. I fabricated a fix with a bolt a nut and a small steel plate as the replacement unit is pricy. Not sure about the rear but the front was easy drivers side wheel off on jacks axel stands for safety. And it's the small link on to the wish bone should see it easily

If who ever fitted the springs broke this part(s), are they not obligated to fix it for you FOC? Every time I've ever broken something belonging to someone else, it was very clear I was required to make things right. Especially when due to my own incompetence. Just sayin'

As bcworkz says go back to the spring fitter. It's done by over flexing the lower arm to fit the spring. Typically the right rear. No other way realistically to break it.
