Securing space saver in boot

My Zed has a space saver in a nice zip-up bag in the boot. A jack and wheel brace are also in there. The trouble is it is currently not secured, so unless it is wedged in with ‘other stuff’ it tends to slide around. With the boot floor not being flat and the wheel being an awkward shape/ size stopping it moving around could be a bit tricky.

Has anyone here with a space saver come up with a good solution?

Pop it on eBay. Makes room for more essential things, such as bird poo wipes. :o

:P Call me old school, but I like to have a spare wheel. I’m not on run flats and a can of tyre weld stuff wouldn’t fix a bigger puncture/rip/rupture or blowout.

You’re right about bird poo wipes though. Essential equipment. I suppose living in Cornwall you might need a bootful. Sh1te hawks everywhere down there,

Can you not stich some velcro to the base of the space saver bag? Should have enough purchase on the carpet to stop it sliding around.

I've got some anti-slip matting that I acquired a while back. Cut a big piece out which is similar shape to the boot and stops anything sliding around. Other anti-slip type mats or pads should be able to do the same sort of thing. Maybe stick a few to the underside of the wheel bag if you want? :)

Something like this should stop it moving about
