Secret button Z4M Coupe

Doesn't seem to do anything. Has a little light in it flashing sometimes.

Car seems to drive fine.

Apparently the limiter was removed, it has a KKS backcat with button operated valve and there is a Meta Systems T30 tracking device glued to the battery.

But don't think any of those has anything to do with this secret button

If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them, thanks !

I thought that as well, probably it is, but what would it do then ? Are there alarms that you operate via a button ? Can't think of anything else though.

Could pry it loose but following the wires will be a nightmare.

There is a Meta Systems T30 unit installed on the battery. Just checked youtube and it's simply stickied on top with two wires connected to the battery leads. Then you hook it up to a subscription based app to track your car is. So that's a pretty standalone unit.

Of course it could be someone installed a 2nd tracker along the way. But if it is a tracker what would the button do ? Like follow / unfollow me ?

I wil try to pull the cover off. Just pretty sure I wont get any wiser from the electronics behind it. But maybe you guys will. Or maybe there is some text or numbers there that help identify the unit.

Come to think of it, maybe it is a switch to disable the T30 tracker, in case you want to go to illegal speeds and don't want it recorded to the cloud

I hoped it would be some magic boost button when pressing it for the first time. Was actually disappointed when no extra wings appeared and there wasn't a shove in the back :driving:

Is it a laser blinder (garage door opener)? Check for a small black box behind the front grill connected by wire.
