Even though I live in a rainy, cool area, in the summer, I always park with the back to the sun. When parking for long spans of time i.e. sporting events, I'll do my best to park with the back to where the sun will be upon return. My issue is more at overheating on the leather when driving. I form fit a large towel so I can drive around with a tank top or shirtless 8). I don't like sweating on or sticking to the leather. The only type of cover I'd use in our area is sheepskin but, ultimately, the overhead of seatcover care tends me to the 'ghetto' option instead. I'm more on function than form. If I was in AZ, my tac would be to shade the seats with something removeable or a sunshade in the windshield.
