Seat bolt cross threading

Hi guys,

I’ve swapped my well aged driver seat for a fresher unit from eBay. All went well until I’ve messed up with one of the rear bolts which seems to be cross treaded as it gets excessively tight only half way. I suspect it’s the inner tread, rather than the bolt.

Does anyone know what tap size is needed for this?

Thank you for the replies! That’ll be easy to pick up tomorrow and hopefully I can get things sorted.

Had the same problem on my seat bolts they weren't cross threaded just really dirty and corroded threads, chased the threads on the bolts aswell as the nuts and the bolts went back in easily
