sDrive 2.0i not listed

Just noticed that on the discussion title the sDrive 2.0i is not listed.
Is there any particular reason why..?

On this note is there much difference between the sDrive 2.0i and sDrive 2.3i?
Maybe I should get a test drive in the 2.3 too.

The 2.3i is no longer available as new car, it as along with the 3.0i the normally aspirated straight 6 cylinder engine which as been a BMW hallmark for many years, the 2.0i and 2.8i 4cylinder turbo engines replaced the former at the start of this year

Having driven both I'd say the 20i has an edge over the 23i in two areas, it's more economical and more notably for me, is lighter and the handling was improved as a result. Turn in on the 20i was notably better.

Having said that, you can't beat the 6 pot sound and smoothness..

I bought my Audi TT earlier this year and had talked myself out of the 3.2 V6 for the higher running costs in all aspects.

On the day of purchase I test drove a 2.0 FWD TFSI (turbocharged) and was severely disappointed.
Infact to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. So much so that I noticed that parked right next to it on the dealer forecourt
was a 3.2. After a test drive a deal was done an I haven't looked back. Drove away thinking a turbocharged car is not for me.

The 3.2 costs a fortune in fuel averaging 25mpg and is in the high tax band but I love it. I thought I was done.

Then yesterdays test drive completely blew me away. The 2.0 turbo engine was fantastic!
The 2.0 litre engine was sweet, responsive, sounded nice and it bloody went. I mean it really went. I didn't feel much turbo lag and it was a joy to drive.
None of that I had even remotely felt when I test drove the 2.0 turbo TT. Another thing that I loved was the feeling of being "pushed" as opposed to "pulled" which I had never experienced since my TT is Quattro.

Now I would only get a turbocharged engine in the BMW without a shadow of a doubt - :D

The reason why the 20i is not listed in the titles (or the 28i) is just that the last time the forum contents was updated they hadn't been released yet.

I've had the 2.3i for 3 and a half years and loved every mile in it!
However I've just bought a 2.0 turbo and after a test drive found the torque much better on the 2.0.
I am a bit worried about the noise of the new one but it sounded ok the night I had one for!?
Picking the new one (Titanium Silver, Msport, auto, comfort pack, load speaker system, heated seats) up Saturday and can't wait now!! :D
