Screen washers not blocked

Hi every one , newbie here so please be gentle ,
a month or so ago my screen washers stopped spraying , when I looked into the issue the filter below the pump was blocked so did the usual clean out and blow system clear of any debris, when I then tried them all was good loads of pressure and sprayed great , there's still issue though. here's what's happening ;
1. start engine pull stalk loads of screen wash
2. pull off and get moving , pull stalk for screen wash and nothing happens maybe a trickle but not enough to get to screen then nothing at all while the car is moving.
3. pull over stop the engine
4. re start the engine pull stalk and screen wash works just fine plenty of spray

It seems that when the car is moving I get no screen wash , but if the cars stopped and stationary then restart the engine I get screen wash, Ive even pulled off spraying the screen but the n when I ask for wash again I get Nothing, all was fine until they clogged up , ive even changed the pump in case there was a bad connection but no change. Has anyone experienced this or might now a solution.
would disconnecting the battery do anything ? and does anyone know if the FRM controls screen wash ?
head lamp washers work fine as well while moving , its a weird one !!!!!

Did you clean the whole washer pipework out as well?
You have probably got a bit of crap in the line from the pump to the nozzles somewhere and it is moving about. The 'main' pipe is only 6mm diameter so easily blocked/ semi blocked. There are filters on the end of the nozzles. Check those as well.

I would disconnect the nozzles/ jets and fire the pump for a while, chances are anything in there will be spat out.

Possibly a stupid question, but is it possible that you may have swapped the screen washer pipe and the headlight washer pipe over when you did the job?
If you did that'll explain why it initially squirts, then nothing and then squirts again after the engine was turned off!
Headlight washers only work every ten pulls of the stalk, when the lights are on, this is cancelled by turning the engine off.

Thanks for the replies, but like I said when the cars stationary I get washer fluid all the time so there’s no blockage and I’ve not connected the front washer hose as it’s not long enough to reach the screen washer pump

Ahh, could have been the electrical connector swapped, but like you say if it's all the time while stationary then I think it's more of a serious issue here.
OK, thinking logically here, it could possibly be a loose connection in the pump plug, makes enough contact while not moving, but breaks contact with movement. If it's all connected OK, then I'd next look at connecting the pump plug to an volt meter (that can be seen while driving) and see if you get 12volts. If you don't get 12 volts while driving and pulling the stalk then you've got a control issue. Yes the FRM controls the wipers and washers. If this is the case then it may be fixed by a FRM re-flash, or it may need a full replacement (will also need coding to the car).

Will try testing the 12v connector, but my thoughts are pushing towards the FRM module now , there’s a local BMW independent guy close by me so will catch up with him , if it’s resolved will post back with the fix .thanks for all your help fingers crossed it’s something simple 🤣🤣
