Scottish Borders Reivers Weekend 14th/15th August 2021 Final call / confirmation

This has been moved forward to mid August. As this run is my backyard, with COVID impacts we've moved it to this date to allows us to manage more easily any logistical issues caused by staycations etc.

Back by popular demand, this eclectic weekend of high speed hooning interspersed with interesting tracks ranges over the Reivers and Disputed Lands between Scotland and England.



If you ever wondered what its like to cross a border several times in a weekend this is your chance.

Based at a hotel near Jedburgh this two day events takes in unspoilt roads, very low traffic densities and a mixture of mountains and forests.

Its planned to start about 9:00 am and finish 5:00 pm each day with somewhere around 150-200 miles driving per day.

A WhatsApp group will be set up for each run to allow pre run co-ordination and on the day(s) any short notice issues/emergencies etc, so you will need a smartphone with WhatsApp.

This has now been re-fragged to mid August as probably the Borders will still be the quietest place to run this and the Dumfries and Galloway weekend will run in October now.

People booked on the orginal trip have been removed..please re-boof if you wish to attned.

The Boarder Reivers weekend is my favourite Zedding weekend and now with a good chance of decent summer weather and drier roads the prospect seems even more exciting
Really looking forward to it and fingers crossed all Covid restrictions will be fully relaxed by then

Si, great that you can make it...I’m planning to use this hotel as the base https://www.borderhotel.co.uk/ but they are closed at the moment.

Food is great and a wide selection of real ales..hic..

I’ll update everyone once I’ve spoken to them.

Thinking it through, within Scotland at that time it will probably be the quietest area...the highlands will be clogged...

Track conditions should be good so recommend slicks for that weekend

Hello, we send a few days ahead of the runs the intended runs for the two days..essentially they are two orbits centred on the base of operations for the weekend. We usually reserve the right to flip the two days around to avoid likely weather, if there is some certainity about that.

So one orbit goes north and east and another south or west..if that makes sense?

However, I would now like to come along on the Inner Hebrides/W.Atlantic Coast Weekend 28/29th August !

Si no worries..great to spend some time in San Fran.. worked in Northern California for a couple of years ..take some time to head north of SF and enjoy some fab country up there

Hi that’s fine we will do a final call a week before so we can sort out catering logistics…

If you want to stay overnight we’ve socialised some of the places to stay at the start point.
