I know it's a long shot but anyone want to part with their scorpion exhaust. Straight sale or my exhaust plus cash give us a shout. E85 2.5. Got my fingers crossed :rofl:
 
You’ll be waiting a long time as the Scorpion system only fits Si models IIRC. The front end would need to be different to fit the M54 exhaust manifold.

Can’t bring myself to spend £800 plus on a scorpion exhaust but don’t really want to buy a cheap one off eBay. Few people on here have purchased them and rate them but I think a little further down the line they may get too loud. Had better brand systems on my quicker cars in the past and they out live my time with the car without getting overly loud. Missed one on here a couple years ago, been looking since. If one doesn’t come up soon will buy new I suppose.

Precisely why I wouldn't buy one :( after having various bespoke systems made they are a ridiculous price imo.
Isn't there a small independent guy in your area who will take the job on?
I'd expect £350-£400 would get you a top quality system designed, supplied & fitted.
 
Local Longlife place to me does loads for a chap who builds those Ferrari replicas from Z3's , so they know Beemers well and think they charge about £400 for a system. Its something I am thinking of other than the Direnza system at £300 or so.
