Saywell Meeting at Goodwood this weekend

Anybody going to this charity Supercar event this Saturday coming?

Have tried Googling this, but couldn't find much information.

I am not on the track, but would be interested in spectating. What's the deal? Do you just rock up? Is there an admission fee?

Thanks for this. Need to check what SWMBO expects me to be doing on Saturday ( :? ), but hope to be able to go down, even for a short while.
Hi Rick. I'll be getting down there earlyish and meeting a mate, Simon who's got an Interlagos Blue M Coupe. Plus another mate in his TVR Griffith. Apparently, you go in the main entrance and either turn left and park up, or go through the tunnel and park in the paddock. As Rocket has indicated, its totally free. Might be a bit brass monkeys, tho...

I found this video from a Saywell track day in July so I guess it will be similar.
If I pluck up courage to brace the cold it will not be to until the afternoon.
The music in the video may cause distress.

Having received approval from the highest authority in the land (aka SWMBO) I will be at Goodwood tomorrow. Will probably get there mid morning as large hound will need walking and the Zed could do with with seeing a micro fibre mitt first.

Well I went from about 1 pm to 2 pm. It was a bit nippy but not too bad. Here are a few pics there are more on Flickr.

Nice pics, Rocket! We left at around 2.15pm. Shame we didn't meet up. Our cars were parked in the paddock along the back, by one of the exits..

IMG_0252.jpgAnybody know who the owner of the Iola Red Z4M Coupe is? he was certainly enjoying himself around the track!

I was parked at the far end of the paddock close the above Ferrari and a McLaren, same section with all the BMW saloons used by the Goodwood driving school or whatever it was called.

Some great cars on show - glad I went.

Edit:

Here is where I was parked. Shame about the other cars looking so bad compared to my Z4. :)
