Hi Everyone

I'm trying to sort a problem with my car that the standard satnav screen always is quite dark when I first start the car (from cold) and it takes a while to get to full brightness. I know some designs of LCD are prone to this, but it does seem a little excessive in the Zed. Today for example, it was 10c overnight on my driveway and it took 15 mins to get to full brightness.

This is after I fitted a brand-new LCD in the unit yesterday - a new Sharp unit.

I'm starting to wonder if this is just how our screens are 'by design' rather than an actual fault? Or is it something in my PCB / screen driver hardware that is failing?

So, a quick poll before I do anything else!

Thanks
