SatNav - Please wait a Moment

Havent used the Z4 for a week or so as I have been testing the wifes new car.

Moved mine out of the garage today to get something and instead of the SatNav coming up straight away I am just Getting a message saying "Please wait a moment"

I'm guessing the Car has lost the position of the Satellites and is taking a while to find them.

Can anybody confirm.

Mine does that when it's trying to read the DVD and regain sat nav position, usually after being parked up for an hour or so and only when I have a route in that is not yet completed.

I guess I will find out in te morning then.

It's always been immediate, but dont think it's been ;eft this long since fitting SatNav

I have a genuine 2006-1 copy I will have you know. It sitting on my bookshelf

Might take it with me tomorrow just in case.

"Please wait", I have had twice in total:

1. In my previous Z I was testing a DVD with speed cameras on it. Replaced with OEM and all ok again.
2. In my X5, it resulted in a replacement MKIV computer.

In your case, lets hope it is 1.
