Satelite Radio

Let me start by saying I have done no research adding this other than dealer price.

I am interested in adding sat. radio to the car. I have never used sirius, but I have XM in our GM product and I love it. I know the dealer can add sirius but it is over 700.00. Best Buy can add for a lot less, but I dont want any unsitely gizmos or crap sitting on my dash or console. Can it be wired to work with/through the factory system. Have any of you guys done this? What does it look like? What does it cost? Thanks.

Do you have any plans to add an iPod interface sometime up the road? If so you may want to consider the Intravee II device. This gives you an Alpine Ainet interface so you can add Alpine Satellite radio interfaces (Sirius or XM) as well as a very nice iPod interface. All of this would be out of sight and while not the cheapest option on the table will offer a very good sound source for your OEM Head unit and is still lots cheaper than the OEM Sirius radio interface.

I have the DICE interface in my car and want to add satellite radio too so I am strongly considering dumping the DICE for the Intravee II.
