Need a replacement sat-nav screen for a 55 reg Z4: my one has an intermitent fault where it freezers half way open or shut - a shame as otherwise it works fine.

Stealer wants £1200 for a new one - ouch ! And only ones on ebay are coming from Poland... Hmmm.

Any similar experiences from fellow Z owners by the way ?
 
I have bought a number on ebay, mine came form Germany for around £70 - £100.

Keep watching ebay and check worldwide ... (and don't get the X3 monitor either as they are different).
 
Nope, the OS has no bearing on the screen opening. The screen fault is a common one though.

And I trust you mean a DVD as the MKIV unit only takes DVDs ...
 
+1 what PVR said, got mine from greece for just over £100, if you can get a cheap x3 one you may be able to swap over the stepper motor which is the problem.
