Sat nav needed z4 e85

I don't know about your side of the pond, but over here in the US, non-nav cars are MUCH desired over nav-equipped cars. The prominent classic M car dealer in the country recently told me a non-nav Z4M brings a $4k premium over the same car if it had nav. The system was outdated when new, and is woefully outdated today. Be sure you really want to do that before going through the expense and hassle of cutting the car up to add it.

If you're really bent on doing it, check Ebay - units turn up pretty regularly.

You’ll need the following

DVD drive
CID screen
Nav radio
Antenna
Loom

The loom will be the hardest part unless you find a scrapper. One from an X3 can be modified

Ironically - I may be able to sell OP (or anyone else) my loom (or the parts related to sat nav)... Last year sometime, an American member of the Z-roadster forum was enquiring, so whilst I had my seats out and dying my carpet, I chopped out all the wiring that went with my old sat nav that I removed.... then the b*****d ghosted me. I'll have to check if I've still got the bits or if I threw them out last week when I had a mass clear out :?
