I have looked through the forum for the posts on the sat nav gps not finding satellites I have tried disconnecting the battery have replaced the antenna but still having problems the gps locks in almost immediately after turning on but when driving around I keep losing the gps lock sometimes all together sometimes only 1 or 2 satellites found I am running 2016 maps with the custom software but the problem was there before I updated
Has anyone any suggestions
Thanks

Should be 32, isn't that the last supported one?

Not sure what the custom software is that you are referring to though.

You might be lucky and be able to do it through the firewall in the boot by lifting the carpet. If not you will have to take some of the interior out of the car to get to it.

This will help if it's the latter (Pages 3-4)

I have relocated the antenna from its location above the interior light to the top of the dash in the corner on the near side and the gps locks on all the time

Have you got a dash cam fitted?

Hi
Following on from the above problem, have just bought a 2004 Z4 but the sat nav thinks I am in the middle of the English channel (Am mot on the ferry yet!)
The previous owner advised that there is a new unconnected antenna in the interior light and I should plug it into the rear of the DVD unit?
My ? is how do I get into the light and then to the back of the unit. Is there an antenna wire running from the light to the DVD unit and possibly this is broken?
Not sure how easy it is to access the DVD unit but don't really want to start taking the car to pieces just yet.Is there any easy fix?
Thanks
Gareth
