anyone fancy going along? thought might be cool to make it a bit of a national meet??

give forumers a chance to have a chat/look around and potentially have a bit of a race?

hopefully byron would pop along and bring his S/C ///M

thoughts??

we can also get a club stand if we have 10 or more ppl...........

get a tent in the boot and a few crates of cider and make a weekend of it..

Nope - not my idea of fun. Gets a bit rough at night. Very downmarket and last time fights broke out in the campsite, etc. etc.

Makes a good day out if you want to 'run what ya brung'.

we can just make it a day thing if more ppl preferred....
i jut want to RWYB to be honest

I went last time, CJ came with too, and he's right, bit rough, not much to look at, and we were the only Z's there, too many chavs in beat up old cars, who's stereos were worth more than the cars...

I've visited Santa Pod on many occasions on business. I've always thought the place was a bit of a dump.

For the proper Santa Pod festivals with Top Fuel, Rocket and Jet powered cars it's a good laugh - but I can imagine Stark has got it spot on, wouldn't want to be at this sort of an event after the sun goes down.

... it's a shame though... it seems the only really decent/well rounded chaps/ladies in Bimmers are the z4 owners... :?

if anyones worried about getting beaten up i can look out for you :o :o

nah i hear what ur all saying....might just pop along on my own for a RWYB day instead then...

I was gonna say I would meet you there

But you do realise that is September? I don't know what I'm doing next weekend let alone that far away

+1, yes I completely overlooked that...

I'd love to be there, but this the same weekend as the Goodwood Revival, which is a must for me. :(

I'm up for this without doubt! Lives in Bedford for a few months this year always wanted to get down to a RWYB day but never got the chance! Gutted that's this is do far away! Might have to arrange a RWYB day at York drag strip in the new year

looks alright to me...probably be up for that, but i don't really plan 9 months in advance unfortunately :)

as for fights etc, it's like anywhere, mind your business and it passes by i always think - wouldn't put me off camping.
