S54 trumpets

Hi , anyone seen the videos of an s54 on open trumpets, sounds and looks awesome. Anyone know if this is an affordable alternative to a carbon airbox, and if the technical side of it is tricky , any running issues such as remaps or alpha tuning. Are there kits available or are they all bespoke mods by adventurous owners? Thanks.

I've seen the vids on YouTube and they do sound great.

A few threads on cutters but not seen anything done with a Z4.

Think of all the dust entering the engine and wearing it away.

Know of a guy who has an S54 in an E36 Touring - Ben Koflatch IIRC. Sounds epic, and think he is now running filters over each trumpet to stop any issues with dust etc. My main concern would be ventilation. Your only going to be sucking in hot air so would likely need some bonnet vents to put some cold air through the system. Would love to hear that and a straight through exhaust 8)
