S54 Owner looking to upgrade

Hi Everyone

I have an e46 M3 convertible, which I have had owned for over three years. It's quite heavily modded (not sure on this forum's attitude to modding yet :D )

Here it is at Uxbridge autoshow on the weekend

I've decided to replace it with a Z4M coupe, I want to do a few more ring trips, track days etc and the vert just isn't up to it. So i'd be looking to put it on KW V3 coilovers (have some currently on my 46), move the AP racing full bbk and Evolve airbox over from my car.

My first (of many) question is do I have the smallest hope in hell of getting my wheels onto a Z4M? I'm not sure I can part with them.
They are 18" 9.75J ET12.5 & 10.5J ET15

Thanks everyone, ill have a browse around now.

Hi and welcome.

Not sure on the wheels, either looks or size wise for a Z4. Mr. Wilks should be able to help on the sizes being our resident wheel/tyre wheeler dealer.

They'll look awful on a z4.

Sell them to me. :p

Don't sit on the fence there ?Neil

I see split hartge wheels...I want split hartge wheels. Seems like a good idea to me.

Reality of it is the offsets may be a little tight, but nothing an arch roller can't fix.

The world needs more stanced out z4's. It just looks right.

I don't mind an aggressive arch roll and 3 deg. neg camber as the car will be setup largely for track anyway. But I still don't think they will fit :(

I am not sure you would want -3deg in the rear. I had about -2.5 and the arse end was a lot of fun...

But it wasn't quick.. And if you want a track focused car i wouldn't do that much. If it was a case of doing that to get them to fit. And you really cant bring yourself to sell them. Take them to a good machine shop. And get a few mm skimmed off the mounting face. Its what i have done to get my e46 m wheels to fit on a non M

Thanks Marlon I definitely will. I'm very active on the e46 forums and I definitely acknowledge the advantages of buying from an enthusiast.

I need to sell the 46 first, and i'm going to try and stick to my guns on the new car - Imola/SG or Interlagos/Champagne. But ultimately I will buy on condition.

Good point, I hadn't considered the edge that the Z4 has over the E46. I need to have proper look at what I can get away with and then buy smaller lips or barrels (preferably barrels). But I can't find alot of info on people running aggressive setups.

My track/winter wheels will be 260M's (E9x M3 18") preferably square which I currently run on the 46.
