S2000 with some Zed DNA

I thought I’d put this up as its quite an interesting mix ‘n’ match.

A friend of mine who I give a lift to work each day in the coupe went to Japfest this weekend. While he was strolling around with his camera he noticed something familiar with this S2000. I’m not 100% sold on it but the owner gets my thumbs up for ingenuity.

Whilst were here, has anyone got pictures of other Z4 bits being used on other cars?
 
I believe that's a Mugen hardtop. I saw one in London a while ago very similar to the one your friend spotted. It's very "hard parked" as the scene guys call it (all the gear for racing but doesn't race). Not my cuppa but each to their own.

For what it's worth (literally) they are thousands upon thousands of pounds and apparently really do give as good a rigidity to a soft top car as having a coupe version of the S2000.

Can't believe how similar the "tail" looks compared to the coupe. I wonder if that's where the inspiration came from.
 
Not to my taste either, but I suppose the owner likes it and that's all that matters.

I think they are quite cool when in the right colour and other mods, gives the same profile as the z4 coupe, this one is the spoon version i think, worth as much as a used s2000 though....

We have a gt86 down our road and my better half pointed out the rear lights are surprisingly z4 like
