S2000 Seats!

Looking at them I find it hard to believe they offer more support... Though my build hasn't ever been described as 'slim' :D

To be fair, if you have standard seats and want sports style instead then this is a great option and looks really good. Does the red need dyed at all to match the interior ?

The market for our standard seats is good too - apparently they fit perfectly in VW camper vans so are not too hard to shift for a few hundred quid. You could probably break even, at least.

It was a royal pain in the arse mate. Because I wanted to make them eclectic I had to make up brackets to adapt from one seat to the other. Lot's of grinding and chopping to make them fit.

A simple way to fit them would be to just use the rails on the Honda seats and get a plate made up to fit the BMW bolt pattern...

Hi MM,

if you make some plates up then i would be very interested in buying some, my standard seats are rubbish and I really liked my old S2K seats.
 
After my Zcoupe M seats underwhelmed me comfortwise i was looking to swap the standard seats from my Se & Yorkie pointed me down the S2000 rd /
i also thought about the Mazda RX8 seats

S2000 seats are far more supportive than non M seats; more comfortable too. Ditching the electric motors isn't an issue for me - they are slow and heavy. It is relatively straightforward to install heated elements in them too.

Headrest speakers don't do much for audio in the S or a 5 - you only hear one channel.
