Rusty Wheel Parts - advice on how to replace

As pictured, some of my wheel parts and bolt heads are rusty and spoiling the look.

Can anyone advise on how to fix or replace? Even knowing what the bits are called would be a good start for me!

You could spray the bolts with hi temp paint, so long as you mask the thread and the cone so it doesn’t screw up torque settings and the like.

The bit they screw into is part of the disk it’s self, again you can paint these with hi temp paint but imo you should mask the part that mates with the wheel as it will ‘squeeze up’ differently with paint. I’d also paint the edge of the disk as it looks smart , I’d mask the Caliper and wheel arch liners, the braking surface will be wiped away as soon as the pads touch it anyway so I wouldn’t worry about that.

The brake callipers will rust eventually, so you could brush some paint on them - just don’t paint the back of the pad as it may contaminate / seize it

I just used plastikote chrome paint on the calipers and the disc, seems to withstand the heat ok.
I got some push on hex caps for the bolts, you can get them chrome or black/chrome, only a few quid off Ebay.
Depends how practical and diy you are, a few quid and bit of effort can transform that area.
And did get rid of the security bolt.

When you say ‘paint the disc’ do you just mean the rusty drum shaped bit on my pic - not the actual disc, right?

I repainted my black wheel bolts once. Small wire brush to get the rust and dirt off, then I turned a cardboard box upside down and poked small holes in the bottom of it for the bolts to sit in so I didn’t paint the threads. Rattle can of high temp gloss black pain, 3 coats, job done

And yes, they mean the hub not the disk face iteself. Wire brush again, brake cleaner to get the dust off, mask off the disk itself and a decent brush to paint it. You don’t really want to paint too much of the face of the hub just the edges, no point and the paint will just rub off anyway. Just give it a good clean.
