Russian SU35 Display

Absolutely superb....love it ! Aircraft is my 'second' obsession. Coincidentally I spent several hours at Cad East - Mach Loop, N.Wales last week and this was the highlight ! :o https://youtu.be/KllDKag028I
Not my footage but I was on the clifftop in the background. Awesome stuff !

Thanks for the linky  lovely footage, I was at that spot or nearby many years ago watching the Red Arrows practicing, always surreal when you're at a greater height than the aircraft :)

Tim.

The SU35 is on my list to see, as is the SU27, amazing aircraft and brilliant footage. The mach loop is also on my to do list, just need to find a way to convince my wife...

My highlight this year was the Rafael M pair at Yeovilton, for me, they stole the show once again https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5kzN1xn9us&t=0s

TitanTim - Wow that's cool ! I would love to see the Red Arrows in the Mach Loop. When they are at RAF Valley on Anglesey they fly the Mach Loop and sometimes transit all 10 aircraft through the Loop on the way to airshows in the area. Take a look at these two videos :
https://youtu.be/vVa7jUmYVKA and https://youtu.be/CzMnZx4G4bo
Vonlipvig - Yes the SU27 and SU35 are incredible. I'm gonna try to get down to RIAT next year and fingers crossed they will be displaying.
That Rafale duo display is very slick and way cool. I still find it amazing that the 'Frogs' stuck two fingers up to us, the Spanish, Germans and Italians and opted out of the Eurofighter program and then go and design and build something at huge expense that is almost identical ! :o
I have a soft spot for SAAB aircraft. My parents moved to Linkoping, Sweden in the mid-60s with my fathers work and both my sister and I were born there. Linkoping is the home of the SAAB aircraft factory (which is underground !) and so I grew up with the daily sights and sounds of Drakens, Viggens, Tunnans and Lansens overhead. Through his work my father became friendly with a few of the SAAB test pilots and so we used to get invited along to open days and air displays etc...happy days and great memories !
Consequently the SAAB Gripen is my current favourite. It just looks so good ! https://youtu.be/PxcinhDv-Yw

With you on the gripen, couple of them at yeovilton as well. Riat would be great, but there is farnbourgh on next yesr as well. Saw the Vulcan on it's final year with the sea vixen and two vampires, that was a sight. Then again, so were the two lancs over dawlish. Never forget that thry closed the show and the amount of people that left after the red arrows and missed it, wanted to drag them back

Wow those are some great pictures, looked like a beautiful day for it too.

The Zed is good, got it's MOT in a few hours so that condition may well change. Body shop next week for spray and polish then off to France :driving:

I'm sure the Zed will fly through it's MoT. France sounds like fun, be sure to take a camera.

Some of that display looks like it should be impossible! Imagine the strain on those wings, and the pilots face! Very impressive.
