Hi all

Just picked up my first z4 and it has the above tyres on it. They all look fine and, driving home in the dry last night, felt sturdy.

That said, I've just researched them and found this thread:

Does anyone have any experience of these? Do I need to worry about them and/or replace them?

The reviews on that website seem to indicate they're about as much use as a condom with a hole at both ends.

It's a 'touring' tyre and doesn't pretend to be a high/max/extreme performance tyre, so it's probably simply that the previous owner wanted to put a new set of tyres on the car at the cheapest price possible (I wouldn't be surprised if the whole set cost less than £200).

If you never intend to push it, drive in the rain, or stop quickly then they're probably fine.
 
Budget tyres on a performance car will never be a good marriage and having read the reviews, I wouldn't even put these on a golf cart :!:
