Runflats

Ok it's bin discussed here but as I'm a runflats virgin Id thought I would ask this simple question, which is.I suffer from the usual tramling in my z4 coupe so like many others I am thinking of just getting new tyres on the front as the back end is fine, will I notice the difference by changing just the front tyres, cheers

I reckon you need swap out all 4 to see results, not sure a mixture is recommended. There's lots of debate regarding tramlining and runflats: http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=97621

They can be changed in pairs but common sense says to switch all 4 together .
That said i think you will notice a marked improvement with just fronts changed off runflats whereas little improvement if just rears .
Its a relatively small spend for a reasonable set of 4 non runflats in 18inch staggered & once done you have the benefits for many miles / years :driving: if you change out sooner the rears if 4mm or more tread will also be worth selling on to pull some £ back

Getting used to my runflats. Bit crashy as they are pumped up more than non-RF, and have stiffer sidewalls, but they are not that bad. Although, I will change to non-RF when I wear these out!

Thanks for that  hoped you wouldn't take it the wrong way, sometimes we all forget we were newbies once and didn't know our way around, this is a very welcoming forum, I've been on others and they're not a patch on this one, cheers ML
