This is going to be a good week! I have ordered some new tyres and ditching these awful runflats so hopefully its true what ive been reading...

Never used them on the zed, used the all season versions on the workhorse Picasso and they were certainly good.

Had good reviews on the website and the ratings looked good so thought id just go for it. rather change all four tyres then replace to two rears for the same amount! So hopefully the weathers nice this weekend for a cruise! Gave the roof a good clean with the auto glyn set.

I had them on my scirocco. I sold it with just over 40k miles and the dealer thought the rear tyres were nearly new. The fronts were replaced at about 35k miles They handled well in the wet as well although obv fwd car

Awesome looks like i might of made a good choice then :)

what model of Hankooks? need to replace mine soon and don't want to spend a fortune always a fan of Falken 452's but I don't think they do them anymore.

Had Hancooks on a Clio 197 and they were very good. Got good reviews for the Zed as well.

The difference is amazing! You'll be so pleased that the run flats are no more!

[very] Silly question time

I "assume" from the above that the standard rims are suitable for both RF's and Non-RF's, so when I need to replace my RF's I can just have Non-RF's fitted to them?

[I'll go get me coat]

Well yeah I don't think it matters it's just the way the tyre is. Getting them fitted now and the side wall is mental

Now have them fitted noticed the difference straight away! Will go for a spin up to cheddar tonight and see :D managed to salvage two of my old run flats with 4mm tread left on them so if anyways interested get in touch :D and thepits dont hesitate just do it!

shouldn't be an issue I swapped from RFT's to normal on my 1 series, the tyre place did make a fuss though and made me sign a disclaimer.

You can fit non run flats to run flat rims, but you cant fit run flats to normal rims as there isn't the support available to keep the tyre in place if there was a puncture.
