Runflat change with wheel damage - west mids

Hi everyone,

My 19" rear runflats require replacement soon, but I know that the combination of wheel size and tyre makes them prone to damage the rims as they replace the tyres. Can anyone recomend a tyre place in the west mids/north b'ham please? Otherwise its bite the bullet, pay bmw prices but have the reassurance that whoever does them must do a perfect job or i'll refuse to accept it.

will bmw do a price match to kwikfits price?

Our 6 series needed 2 rear tyres last month, got the dealer to match tyre leaders price was gobsmacked worth a try

Event tyres.

Always good with my alloys and runflats. They will inspect (with you) alloys before they start and get you to check and sign for after. Also Kwickfit are certainly not the cheapest IMO.

I only have one experience of having runflats removed (18s though) - it was with Event and yes, they were very careful. The guy warned me about rim damage and said he'd take a little more time removing them, which was good because they don't charge by the hour! There wasn't any damage, despite the incredible noise they made when they separated from the rims. Wouldn't have been surprised if one of the neighbours had reported gunfire! :?
