Full 19 min RUF video is on bridge to gantry , I'd post a link but I'm computer illiterate , so if you can't be bothered to look it up it's your loss :poke:
2 laps with Stephan Roser in the yellow bird , complete with to short jeans , white socks and brown loafers .

Thanks for posting, not seen it. Breathtaking driving skills! - constantly battling against the backend sliding out, never seen so much counter steering.

Good old fashioned camera work , probably the best they could do in those days :lol:

Legendary footage but to put it in perspective , the ring banana video that only buzyg bothered commenting on is probably a better lap and greater achievement , time only moves forward .
 
It's true but in fairness that mx5 is way more set up for track work so it's far less of a handful at the limit, and therefore can be finessed into a fast time. I'm by no means saying it was an easy lap, but i guess it's like comparing driving a car to strapping yourself onto an acme rocket, lighting the fuse and seeing how you get on :lol:
