Route planning/point plotting apps

In April I'll be taking the Zed on its first road trip to Wales and im on the hunt for an app that allows points to be plotted on a map, then gives directions from A to B to C etc (much like Google maps on a pc). As I am travelling in a convoy of 8 it would be good for us to all have the same points plotted on our phones so we can all see the route we are taking and can meet at a specific point if needs be. I have Google maps on my iPhone but it doesn't have the same functions as a desktop version so won't be much use.

I've just downloaded CoPilot to my phone and whilst it has the route plotting function I need, the whole app seems quite confusing and cluttered.

Are there any alternatives that anyone would recommend?

I've 'pins' saved on google maps, but there's a major flaw that you can't rename them to anything useful from the app - and can't do multiple point routes.

I'll check out CoPilot in the meantime
