Rotation or Yaw rate sensor, plug and play from from an E46

I need to replace my rotation rate sensor, sometimes called a Yaw Rate sensor, which is part of the DSC. I have took it off the car and have the part number 34526759412. New this is an expensive part for an 11 year old car so I'm looking at used.
Non are available for a Z4 E85 in the usual google search, ebay, parts gateway. BUT they are available for the E46 and some Mini cars that use the same DSC system.

My question is, if I buy one of these from another model but with the identical part number, will it work directly with my Z4 or will it have to be re programmed with a computer? Ie, are they model specific despite having the same part number?

Various posts indicate the rotation rate sensor is plug and play if off another Z 4, but not sure about from another model.

Anybody can answer definitively please?

Hi thanks for that, part number is correct, it seems to be a part used by Z4 E85, some E46 and the JCW minis. The part will be identical, only thing left to find out is whether i can fit a used part from one of the other models without needing it reprogramming, or whether it will need reprogramming as it is coming from a different model.

Reason is there are plenty about on the second hand market from E46 and mini cars, but none from Z4 cars.

Thanks for your help though.
