Roof Question

You can close it but it’s a battle without certain tools

Does he have any with him?
 
The general answer is: no way!

Then the exception:
with a bunch of special BMW tools it is possible in combination with a higher priced diagnostic system (INPA, ISTA, GUTTMANN, BOSCH,...) it can be closed and locked at the windscreen.

To make this possible, a comprehensive understanding of the roof components is required.

Thanks both- he isn't stuck right now bigwinn, but the roof is dodgy and he doesn't trust it, esp when people in here seem to have so many probs with them.
Robbi thanks for that, he says sod that :rofl: so I take it he's not keen to get seriously into it all.
