Roof oil and body panels

Topping up the roof motor oil isn’t the easy job you might expect...basically you have to pull the motor through into the boot...in which case you might as well leave it there. The secondary issue there of course is that if you have lost oil from the system then you have a leak which you need to find first.

Don’t see any reason to replace those panels from the pics as can’t see any perforation. Good body shop should sort that no problem.
 
Quite hard to see the paint finish, but it looks like it's reacted with a base coat or a filler. As above, a decent paint shop should sort them.

Yes I’m fully aware that it will not be an easy job :cry:

So pulling it to the boot permanently may be the way forward. It had a hard top on it for quite a while before I got it and I don’t know if has just gone stiff or not. The motor gets it up and down ok it’s just not as quick as my other one.
