Roof motor stopped working

Hi, my roof motor has finally succumbed on my 2005 E85 to either the heavy rain or it has seized up. The catches still work and the windows go down so it's definitely the motor that's gone.
I'm pretty new to the forums and haven't posted anything much and because of that it looks like I can't PM the guy (Bowzer) who has been recommended in previous posts.
Does anyone know what I need to do to be able to send a PM or, alternatively, does anyone have a contact in the Hampshire area (I don't mind travelling) who does the roof motor repair/relocation?

Hi OP, "Number5" above does roof motors in the Bristol area.

But if you are Hampshire "bowser134" has opened his RBM workshop in Hook, Hants (and it's excellent). Call RBM on 01256 856606 and speak to Ross.

Thanks for asking the question Stocko. Seems like a very common problem - I came across your post and the helpful replies in my efforts to avoid a complete failure of the pump in my 'new to me" z4. Good luck with this
