Roof motor- separating failed unit

Hi all

I’ve got a failed roof motor and a shiny new one

However I can’t separate the old motor from the spacer

Can’t see any obvious screws etc so assume it’s rusted in place and needs a whack?

Ah the joys of dissimilar metal corrosion.
Pretty sure it should come apart without any other work, assuming you have the plastic disc out already?
Make sure you put all the protection on the spacer as that's what you're re-using.
If the motor is duff then it doesn't matter so much to damage that.
